Identifying And Correcting Excel Error For (MA1 ACCA student)





Error indicates that Excel does not recognize something. This could be a function name misspelled, a named range that doesn't exist, or a cell reference entered incorrectly. For example, in the screen below, the VLOOKUP function in F3 is misspelled "VLOKUP".



Errors:



#NULL!: You specified an intersection of two cell ranges whose cells don't actually intersect 

#NUM!: Problem with a number in the formula

 #REF!: Invalid cell reference 

#VALUE!: Wrong type of argument in a function or wrong type of operator
